Outline of Invited Lecture: Processing of 2D image data
Analysis of B-scan image data
3D ultrasonography
The lecture should serve both as an introduction to the field for those who are not particularly specialised in ultrasonography, and also, for those who are more deeply involved in the field, as an overview of different methodologies applied in this broad area either as routine procedures, or still primarily as research topics. Acknowledgement The overview lecture mirrors the basic background of a research project supported by the grant no. 102/01/0890 of the Grant Agency of Czech Republic and also by the grant of the Ministry of Education (Czech Republic) no. CEZ J22/98:26220001.
